Surf Life Saving Central Coast Awards of Excellence 2017

Congratulations to Surf Life Saving Central Coast Branch on a very successful Awards of Excellence 2017 evening with almost 400 members, supporters and stakeholders in attendance.

Members from all 15 Surf Clubs are now enjoying a well earned rest from Patrols. During the 2016-2017 surf season the Central Coast Surf Clubs and their dedicated Volunteers have very impressive stats that saw 1,115 Lives Saved, 16,320 Preventative Actions, 2,141 First Aid Cases and over 97,400 volunteer patrol hours in keeping our beach visitors safe.

Our very own Director, Paul Bolton presented the Fortunity Quality Clubs Program Bronze Level to three more surf clubs.  These included Soldiers Beach SLSC, North Entrance SLSC and Ocean Beach SLSC.

Hearty congratulations to Ocean Beach SLSC who were awarded Club of the Year.  Closely followed by Toowoon Bay SLSC in second place and MacMasters Beach SLSC in third place.
