Donor relationships and fundraising – recap
For our final Central Coast Not-for-profit Forum for 2019, we welcomed back Bianca Crocker, aka The Fish Chick from Fish Community Solutions and Small Not-for-profit Alliance. Bianca was a popular keynote from our 2018 program where she addressed Grants, Sponsorship and Fundraising. We were thrilled to welcome Bianca back to build on this important topic for NFPs in our region by addressing Donor Relationships and Fundraising Models.
Bianca is the woman behind Fish Community Solutions; a business that works with non-profits to build sustainable funding models so they can create positive change in our world. Bianca has been a passionate and enthusiastic fundraiser for over 12 years and holds the internationally recognised Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) accreditation.
Bianca engaged the group at both a workshop and Forum about how she is currently working with multiple small to medium sized NFPs via the Small Not-for-profit Alliance to navigate and establish strong donor relationships. She spoke at length about the importance of good fundraising models and how vital they are to the success of any not-for-profit. Bianca provided practical takeaways, tools and templates to teach the Central Coast’s NFP organisations how to take a more strategic approach to their fundraising and to pay particular attention to the most important word in fundraising – Thank you.
Fortunity look forward to continuing our support of the Third Sector on the Central Coast in 2020. We are currently considering a new format for our 2020 Forums, however will continue to bring high calibre speakers who are experts in their fields to educate NPFs and charities in our region. If you have any topics you would like to learn more about, please contact Yvette Wright at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 02 4304 8888.
