COVID- 19 Stimulus and Support Measures – Updated

Recently we shared with you a guide to the various government stimulus packages and support measures related to COVID-19. As expected various changes and additions have been made by the government in recent weeks and therefore we have updated the document accordingly for your information.

This is a comprehensive summary as of April 20 and includes both federal and state packages. It may not all be relevant to you, however we are here to help you navigate these changes as much as we can and ensure you have the right information.

In particular, clients applying for the first round of JobKeeper payments from 30 March 2020, we encourage you to call us for assistance with the following (enrolments need to be completed by 26 April):

• Applying the turnover tests;
• Determining eligible employees;
• Adding appropriate categories into your payroll system;
• Calculating top up payments; and
• Enrolling via the portal.
