Central Coast NFP Forum – Forum 5 Investment Strategy and Committee

We are now preparing for the fifth and final Central Coast Not-for-profit Forum for the 2018 Program. We have been so fortunate to welcome such high caliber speakers to the Central Coast to share their knowledge and expertise. These have included Deputy Commissioner of the ACNC, Murray Baird, and Not-for-profit Sector Leader for AICD, Phil Butler. We have also heard from Bianca Crocker aka The Fish Chick, from Fish Community Solutions to discuss all things grants, sponsorship and fundraising.

Most recently we welcomed Colin Parker from GAAP Consulting, who as a former Board Member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board was well qualified to discuss recent changes to Accounting Standards when he covered off Financial Reporting and Audit.
We are so grateful to all those who have attended our series dedicated to the Third Sector here in our region. While not all topics are relevant for every person, we trust that those who have attended gained greater knowledge to support your role in the not-for-profit sector.

The final topic for the 2018 Program is Investment Strategy and Committee. We recognise that keeping up to date with governance and best practice is not always easy, so these Forums are designed to address relevant issues facing the Third Sector.
